Vernal Thomas Moyer Obituary (1927

Vernal T. Moyer, of Allyn, WA, passed away on October 27, 2002. He was 75 years of age. Vernal was born to Vern and Mary Ann Moyer on January 13, 1927 in Hadock, Iowa. Vern joined the Merchant Marines and the U.S. Army. On May 8, 1954 he married Rose Mary Johnson. She preceded him in death in May 2002. After his service in the military, vern work at PSNS in Bremerotn, WA in the sheet Metal Shop. He worked there for 34 years, retiring in 1982. Vern enjoyed golfing, fishing, and traveling. Surivors include three sons; Stacy J. Moyer (Tarzana, CA), allen V. Moyer (Bremerotn, WA), and Michael T. Moyer (Oklahoma), one daughter; Dondena Scott (Bellingham, WA), one sister; Wanda Lokken (Port Orchard, WA), 10 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. A Memorial service will be held on November 1, 2002 at 1:00 PM in Belfair at the North Mason United Methodist Church.
