Steven Loren (Lyon) Drury Obituary (1959

Steven Loren (Lyon)Drury, age 42, passed away with his parents beside him, Tuesday afternoon, June 18, 2002 at George Washington Memorial Hospital in Washington, D.C.. Steven was born November 27, 1959 at Camp Pendleton, CA to Thomas Harold and Irene Mae (Ford) Lyon. Steven completed his education in Bremerton, Washington. He entered the US Air Force in December of 1978 and had attained the rank of Sgt when he left the service in December 1982. He found employment with Preston Gates Attorney's in Washington, D.C. as a computer programmer. He remained there until his retirement in January of this year. Steven was a marathon runner and loved to travel. He received great satisfaction from helping those less fortunate than himself. Steven is survived by his parents Thomas and Irene Lyon of Port Orchard, WA, brothers; James Lyon of MA, Thomas Lyon of Redmond, WA, sisters; Sharon Churches of UT, Margaret Ringo of Tacoma, WA, Kathyrne Wilde and Linda Leonard of OR, grandmother Ruby Dunnihoo of Vancouver, WA as well, numerous Aunts, Uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at Lewis Funeral Chapel, Tuesday, June 25, 2002 from 9:00 AM until 6:00 PM. Funeral services will be Wednesay, June 26, 2002 at 1:30 PM at Lewis Funeral Chapel. Steven will be buried at Tahoma National Cemetery.
