Sharyn Irene Cooper Obituary (1942

Sharyn I. Cooper, 65, of Poulsbo passed away after a long illness on Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2008, with her family gathered around her at Harrison Medical Center. She was born August 28, 1942 at Pt. Gamble Hospital to Irene and Dale Crabtree. Sharyn managed the In & Out Restaurant and Buckboard Inn for many years with longtime companion Lyle Burkett. She recently received a CNA certificate and worked at Clearbrook Inn for a short time. Sharyn loved being grandma to her own grandchildren and the neighborhood children. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, canning, garage sales, trips to the casino. Sharyn was known as the neighborhood master gardener and cat lover. She was preceded in death by her parents. Sharyn is survived by son David Snyder; daughters Gwen Kilker, Charity Albrecht, Christina Chavez and Patience Truini; grandchildren Shane, Shaleena, Michelle, Kassie, Kristina, Michael, McKenzie, Joshua, Jorge, Jacob and LizMaria; brother Ronald Crabtree and nephews Dustin and Dan. Private inurnment will take place at Eglon Cemetery. A memorial reception will be held at Lewis Funeral Chapel, Sat.
