Rufi A. Magbanua Obituary (1942

Rufi A. Magbanua, 73, of Bremerton, WA passed away on March 23, 2015. Rufi was born on January 10, 1942 in Iloilo City, Philippines to Joe and Fe (Ardiente) Magbanua. He married Arsenia Claire Mariano in Valenzuela City, Philippines. A welder for 44 years, Rufi enjoyed carpentry, tinkering as a mechanic and camping. He held memberships in the Northwest Filipino Amateur Radio Club and the NRA. Rufi was preceded in death by his parents; however, his memory will live on with his wife, Arsenia Claire M. Magbanua; sons, Rufi Jr. D. Magbanua, Randy D. Magbanua, and Mariano M. Magbanua; daughters, Teresa D. Magbanua and Vanessa M. Sweet; grandchildren, Jeran Magbanua, Joshua Carbullido, Jonathon Magbanua, Jeanette Carbullido, Ryan Magbanua, Janelle Manibusan, Joseph Magbanua, Avery Sweet, Jennah Manibusan, and Jayden Magbanua; and great-grandchildren, Aneay'ah Carbullido, Jayden Apatang, and Leiah Apatang. Public visitation will be held at Lewis Funeral Chapel on Saturday, March 28th from 10am-4pm. Rosary will begin on Monday, March 30th at 1:00pm at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with a funeral mass to follow at 1:30pm.
