Roselyn B Manchester Obituary (1910

Roselyn B. Manchester, age 92 died on her birthday, September 5, 2002 at Belmont Terrace, Bremerton, WA. She was born September 5, 1910 in Coldwater, Michigan to her parents Bernie and Bertha (Hughes) LaDow. Roselyn was raised and educated in Coldwater. After High School, she attended Normal School in Michigan, and became a bookkeeper. Upon moving to the Bremerton area, 47 years ago, Roselyn went to work in the Kitsap County Courthouse-Auditor's Office and for Bill Dane's Tidewater Association. Roselyn was an excellent seamstress, there wasn't anything that she could not do. But what she loved was to walk. Roselyn is survived by her son; Arthur E. Manchester and wife Connie of Bremerton, WA,granddaughters; Debra R. Moore and husband Bob of Seattle, WA and Toni R. Shades and husband Dan of Bremerton, WA, grandson; Jay S. Manchester and wife Wanda of Bremerton, WA, five great-grandchildren and a sister Pauline Tweedy of Mesa, AZ. Rosleyn was preceded in death by her sister Madlyn Bruckner. Memorial's may be made to the charity of one's own choosing. At Roselyn's request, there will be no services. Interment will take place in the Evergreen Cemetery in Coldwater, Michigan.
