Pafuti Tagoai Tupai Obituary (1921

Pafuti Tagoai Tupai of Bremerton, Washington passed away on September 29, 2003 at her residence in Bremerton surrounded by her loving family. She was 82 years of age. She was born on August 28, 1921 in Pago Pago, Samoa to Simio Tagoai and Faatigafua Namu. She married Sosi Vaililigi Taito Tupai in Samoa. He preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and working with her hands. She was also member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Survivors include sons Molimau Tupai of Salt Lake City, Utah, Tuamasaga Aetui of American Samoa, Mose Tupai of California, Setu Moli Tupai of Los Angeles, California, and Pisa Tupai of Hawaii; daughter Faleosina Tupai of Bremerton; brothers Simo Tagoai and Mu Tagoai, both of Bremerton; sister Situpu Leae of Honolulu, Hawaii; 35 grandchildren, including Pisa and Tishalynn Tupai; and 64 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Faia Muliti and Talo Saipaia. She will be dearly missed by her loving family.
