Nicholas George Stevens Obituary (1929

Mr. Nicholas "Nick" George Stevens, 75, died on Monday, March 28, 2005 in Bremerton, WA. Nick was born on October 30, 1929 to George N. Stevens and Perserphone (Burgess) Stevens in Somerville, MA. He married Joeann (Proctor) Stevens in Aiken, SC on March1, 1952. Mr. Stevens served as a sergeant in the US Army during the Korean Conflict between 1947 and 1952. He worked for 27 years at the Bark Inn Kennels in Holbrook, MA as a manager. Mr. Stevens was a member of the American Legion Post 37 in Holbrook. He is survived by his wife, Joeann Stevens; his son George Stevens and his wife, Rosemary of Braintree, MA; his daughters Mary McCarthy and her husband, Paul of Hopkinton, MA, Mona Voyles and her husband, Wayne of Bremerton, WA; her three grandchildren Holly McCarthy, Madison Voyles, and Jacob Voyles.
