Loyanne K. Harris Obituary (1956

Loyanne K. Harris, 55, passed away on December 12, 2011 in Gig Harbor, WA. She was born on May 24, 1956 in Newport, Rhode Island to David and Ruth (Garriety) Brown. Loyanne graduated from West High School in Bremerton, WA and later from Washington State University in Pullman, WA with a Master's Degree in Animal Sciences. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband; John W. Harris, Jr. of Bremerton, father; David Brown of Grapeview, WA, son; Richard C.S. Mercer of Olalla, WA, stepsons; John and Michael Harris of Branson, Missouri, brother; Casey Brown, sisters; Judith of Bremerton and Sandra of Seattle, 10 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Loyanne had a six year battle with inflammatory breast cancer. If you know her, please join in a Celebration of Life on Wednesday 12/21/11 at 5 PM at the Island Lake Park in Silverdale.
