Leanne Marie Thompson Obituary (1975

Leanne Marie Thompson, 35, of Bainbridge Island, WA passed away on June 20th. Leanne was born on June 5, 1975 in Napa, CA to Robert L. Thompson and Joyce M. Turner-Smith. Leanne was a graduate of Vintage High School in Napa, CA and also of Napa Valley College with an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. Leanne worked many years in banking. She also was a Director for an Early Childhood Care Facility in Napa, CA and was a Para-Educator for the Bainbridge Island School District. For the past five years, Leanne participated in Relay for Life. She loved movies, reading and scrapbooking. Leanne loved being with her son, Kyle. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Benjamin Turner. Leanne is survived by her parents Robert and Joyce (Michael); son, Kyle; brothers, Nathan Thompson and Ryan William Smith; sisters, Jaime Godsey and Kristilyn Smith; grandparents, Ruby Turner, Barbara & Bill Nichols and Glenda & Freddie Thompson. A funeral service for Leanne will be held on June 25th at 3pm at The Stone Chapel Poulsbo Mortuary. Interment will be at Cherry Grove Memorial Park in Poulsbo.
