Laurine Evelyn Strachan Obituary (1907

Laurine Strachan passed away Sept. 22, 2009, at Harrison hospital. She was born in Los Angeles, California, and was preceeded in death by her husband, John Strachan. She was active all her life while participating in Eastern Star, White Shrine and Amaranth. Never was she a burden or wanted to be. The Canterbury Manor was her home for the last 8 years, where she will be remembered for her independent life. She is survived by her three children, James Strachan (Marlene), John Strachan Jr. (Jenny), and Margaret Dues (Jay Williams); 8 grandchildren, Jim, Doug, Shannon, Nina, and Bryant, Jacque Dewolf, Bob, and David Dues; 7 great-grandchildren, Tara, Daniel, Sarah, Nicole Dewolf, Shardell Dues, Jenepher Dues, and Jacque Dues; and one great-great-grandson, Gavin Dues. She has requested there be no service so please send your flowers or donations to a charity of you choice. She will be missed!
