Kathy Faye (Sanford) Blesie Obituary (1959

Katherine Faye (Sanford) Blesie was born on August 23, 1959 in Seattle and died September 27, 2003 in Kingston. Kathy is survived by her husband, Gary and their two children, Michelle, 14, and Christopher, 12. Beloved daughter of Joe and Faye Sanford and sister of Joseph, William, and Michael. Daughter-in-law to Frank and Elaine Blesie Kowalczyk, sister-in-law to Gayle, Glenda, and Greg. Niece of Rhonda and Jim Parker of Kingston, Alice and Clarence Hoven of Winlock, Edna and Everett Washburn of Toledo, Betty Hartwell of Issaquah, Richard Sanford of Lake Goodwin, Charles and Peggy Vader, Jerry and Rosemary Salschieder of Winlock, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Kathy attended Ingraham High School in Seattle and the University of Washington and was a member of the Redeemer United Methodist Church in Kingston. Kathy left the Seattle Police Department where she worked in the communications division to pursue her dream of raising children. Passionate with a dream to help children, Kathy created ''Kathy's Vision'' a non-profit dedicated to helping children with parents suffering with life threatening illnesses. A celebration of Kathy's life will be held Saturday, October 4th at 1:00pm at Wolfle Elementary School in Kingston. Memorials may be made at the Washington Mutual Bank Branch in Poulsbo for the ''Michelle and Christopher Blesie College Fund'' or a charity of your choice.
