Herbert (John) R. Smalley Obituary (1942

Herbert R. (John) Smalley died on May 10, 2010 at his home in Port Orchard, WA. He was born on Jan. 6, 1942 to Roy Smalley and Frances Hallman in Elizabeth City County, VA. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, step-father; Dick Major, granddaughter; Lacey Castro, and grandson; Johnathan Owney. He is survived by his dog Charlie, children; Dorrie Castro of Port Orchard, Scott Castro of Port Orchard, Benjamin Smalley of New Jersey, and Vickie Chalkley of Virginia and wife of 32 years: Joann. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and several brothers and sisters. Pop wanted to give his love to all of those who gave their love and care along this adventure.
