Dorothy V. Fordahl Obituary (1915

Dorothy V. Fordahl passed away peacefully in Edmonds, WA on Jan. 16, 2014 at the age of 98. Dorothy was born at home on August 4, 1915 in Divide County, ND to Peter and Nellie Peterson and moved to Crosby, ND upon marriage to Theodore L. Fordahl on March 29, 1934. The family came to Bremerton in 1941 where Dorothy resided until her move to Edmonds in 2007. Her primary interest in life was her family. She is preceded in death by her parents; 6 siblings; husband, Theodore; and daughter, Loretta Critchlow. Dorothy's memory lives on with her son, Tom Fordahl; daughter, Toni Shauers, both of Bremerton; grandchildren, Greg and Stacy Fordahl, Ryan Shauers, Mike and Jeff (Shelli) Critchlow, Julie (Dave) Bilyeu; and 6 great-grandchildren. A private inurnment service will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
