Donya Jean Billingsley Obituary (1939

Donya Billingsley of Poulsbo, WA was born on May 27, 1939 to Dwight and Berness Hawkes in Kellogg, Idaho. She died of cancer on February 22, 2008 at Northwoods Lodge in Silverdale, WA. Survivors include her husband Bob of Poulsbo, her sons Todd (Paula) Sanford, Troy (Melanie) Sanford and Timm Sanford. She leaves grandchildren Josh, Jeremy, Stephanie, Megan and Morgan Sanford. Also surviving are brothers Dwight (Judy) Hawkes, Dwayne (Penny) Hawkes and sister Duanne (Robert) Owen. She also leaves her husband's children and grandchildren who dearly loved "Grandma Donya." Donya was a wonderful cook, having owned a restaurant "Donya's Entrees" in Bellevue, WA. She was a long-time caterer, including the Univeristy Presbyterian Church in Seattle as Resident Caterer. Donya devoted a large part of her life giving to others. She was a hospice volunteer, and Art Gallery volunteer for many years. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday February 29th, 2008 at Westminster Chapel. 13646 NE 24th Street Bellevue, WA.
