Cleora Rochelle Rambert Obituary (1937

Cleora Rochelle Rambert age 69 of Bremerton, WA. died on May 11, 2007 at Northwoods Lodge Silverdale following a battle with cancer. She was born Oct 3, 1937 in McAlester, OK. to Ralph & Isabel (Breckenridge) Saxton. She graduated from Bremerton High School in 1955 and attended Yuba College for one year in Marysville, CA 1961. She married David Rambert on Jan. 14, 1956 in Bremerton, WA. She worked as a bookkeeper beginning in 1976 where she worked for Columbian Fathers in Bellview, Nebraska until 1980. She then worked for Brem-Air from 1980-1982; Accountax from 1983-1984 and Kitsap Sports from 1990-1996, retiring in 2000. As a youth she was active in the Rainbow girls in Bremerton and was active in the LDS Church. Cleora served and 18 month mission to San Diego, CA., at San Diego State University. Cleora enjoyed doing craft work. She and her sister Margaret Martin participated in most of the area craft shows as "Butterflies and Roses." She enjoyed traveling and visited most of Europe and Japan. She is survived by her husband David of the family home; sons Robert (Roselyn)Rambert of Battle Ground, WA., Daniel Rambert of Los Angeles, CA; daughter Denise Asbury of Willows, CA.; brother Thomas Saxton of Frankford, Delaware; sisters Margaret Martin of Bremerton, WA. and Marianna Freeman of Phoenix, AZ; 18 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
