Allen Carl Combs, Jr. Obituary (1952

Allen Carl Combs, Jr., 58, died August 22, 2010 in Bremerton. He was born on March 1, 1952 in Bremerton, WA to Allen Carl Combs, Sr. and Charlotte (Garfield) Combs. He was the eldest of their seven children. He attended Bremerton schools. Al was a member of the West High School class of 1971. In his youth "Big Al" was an avid bowler and loved to shoot pool. He also played football, basketball and was a good pitcher and hitter in baseball. Al was also an excellent wood worker and liked to listen to his music, play pinochle, fish, and loved arts and crafts. He was brought up in church and read the bible and prayed with his family and friends. He was a medical caregiver, part-time cook, and a member of The Fort Peck Indian Tribe. Al is survived by his brothers Harry of Port Orchard, Kevin and Tim of Bremerton, and sister Louise of Covington, Indiana. Uncle Al left behind 14 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters; Cathleen Squire and Kimberly Bunting. A memorial service will be held at Lewis Funeral Chapel in Bremerton, Sat. Aug. 28th at 2 PM.
