Tommie Lee Parker Obituary (1928

Tommie Lee Parker of Bremerton, passed away on August 23, 2007. She was 79 years of age. Tommie was born on May 31, 1928 in Fairmont, WV to Tom and Mary (Claybrooks) Sanders. Tommie graduated from Dunbar High School in 1946. She married Eugene Parker. He preceded her in death in 1979. Tommie worked as a teacher's assistant for the Mononghelia School District for 18 years. She was a member of the Sinclair Missionary Baptist Church in Bremerton. Tommie enjoyed singing in the church choir. Tommie was also preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Hampton; sister, Gerturde Garner; and brother, Chris Christain. She is survived by her sons, George Davis Brown, Clarington Brown and Eugene Parker; daughters, Eugenie Jones, Mary Clements, Tommisena Kambon, Charlotte King and Donna Singleton; brothers, Thomas Jefferson Sanders and Willie Claybrooks; sister, Leslie Williams; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Public visitation will be held, Monday, August 27th from 4:00pm-5:30pm at Sinclair Missionary Baptist Church in Bremerton. Funeral services will be held at the Sinclair Missionary Baptist Church in Bremerton on Tuesday, August 28th at 12:00pm.
