Roy Thomas Christopherson

Roy Thomas Christopherson passed away April 24th, 2018. He is survived by his wife, Susan Christopherson, and his two daughters Leslie Gilbert and Anna Christopherson.

He was born here in Bremerton and graduated from West Bremerton high school in 1970. He furthered his academic career with a Bachelor's of Science in Forestry from the University of Washington. He returned to academia and graduated from Ducks Unlimited University.

He then married Susan whom he met in high school. Roy was a devoted family man and enjoyed spending as much time as he could with them.

He worked at the company his father started, Ace Paving, his entire life along with his siblings Dick, Bruce, and Linda. While he enjoyed helping to shape the roads and parking lots of Kitsap county his main passion was wildlife conservation with Ducks Unlimited at both the local and national level. Many of his good friends he met through this organization. He enjoyed the great outdoors through hunting and bird watching. Recently he had spent time volunteering with the local Republican party.

He will be missed by many and remembered by all who knew him. Please join us on April 28th at 5PM at the Bremerton trap and skeet club. 4956 WA-3, Bremerton, WA 98312.
