Roxanna Mildred Baggerly Obituary (1905

Roxanna Mildred Baggerly of Bremerton, passed away after a long and wonderful life on her 98th Birthday, September 11, 2003 at Harrison Memorial Hospital. Born in Maryville, Missouri to Jesse and Zella McGinness, she married Ernest Newton Baggerly in 1934 and they moved to Bremerton in 1941 where Ernest worked for the Naval Shipyard. Roxanna was dedicated to her husband, three sons and was active in the Community of Christ church where her membership spanned 85 years. Roxanna has gone to Glory Where choirs of Angels sing She loved the gospel story And adored her Savior King She now abides in Heaven Where the flowers never fade And is at peace with Ernest In a mansion their Lord has made Ernest preceded Roxanna in death on May 25, 1995 and grandson Jess Baggerly on September 12, 2001. Roxanna is survived by her three sons and their wives: Ralph and wife Donna of Lynnwood; Roy and wife Claudia of Anacortes; Keith and wife Tari of Bremerton; brother Harry McGinness of Oxnard, CA and sister Jessie Mae Horner of Ava, MO; 6 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A time of visitation will be held at Lewis Funeral Chapel on Saturday, September 13 between 2 and 4 PM. A celebration of Roxanna's life will be held Sunday, September 14, 2003, 1:00 PM at the Community of Christ church, 102 Sylvan Way, Bremerton.
