Richard (Dick) Rushing Obituary (1952

Richard (Dick) E. Rushing passed away April 12, 2021. He was born May 20, 1952 in Bremerton, Washington to Jack and Betty Rushing. He was baptized on March 21, 2021 into God's kingdom. Dick worked with the family business, A-1 Sanitation for several years, then went on to work with Hemley's Septic Service in Gig Harbor. He then ventured out on his own, doing various construction and landscaping jobs. He had quite a knack working with machinery and would have a non-working engine working like a top in no time. He loved to repair/restore mechanical items and detailing his various cars/trucks. Dick is survived by his daughter, Tina (Rushing) Coberly (Rod); son, Bradley Hauge (Katie); grandson, Bowin Coberly; and granddaughter, Amber Hauge. He is also survived by his brothers, Jack (Sheri) and Gary Rushing; sisters, Shirley (Rushing) Dufresne and Becky (Rushing) Blinn (Ken). He leaves several nieces and nephews as well. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Betty; brother, Rocky L. Rushing; and sister, Colleene F. (Rushing) Larson. His pain is over. When the roll is called up yonder, we will meet again in Heaven. He will be greatly missed until then.
