Raymond R. Smith Obituary (1927

Raymond R. Smith, 80, of Silverdale, died November 15, 2007 at Harrison Medical Center. Raymond grew up in Northern Minnesota and Minneapolis. He married Doris M. Chambers on April 14, 1949 in Minneapolis, MN. Raymond enjoyed golf, sports, fishing and hunting. He served in the US Army. Raymond was a member of Rolling Hills Golf Club. Raymond retired from Shop 07, PSNS. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Kenneth, Gordon, and Clyde; sisters Edith and Carrie. He is survived by wife Doris; children: Wendy and husband Dave Meyer; Bruce and wife Cindy Smith, Bryan Smith, Brent and wife Helen Smith; brother Harold, grandchildren, David and wife Stacey Meyer, Amie Meyer, Christianne and husband Michael Fry, Adam and wife Ginnie Smith, John Grant, Brent Smith, Jr. and Sarah Joy; great-grandchildren, Owen, Riley, Chani, India and Aiden. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be given to American Cancer Society.
