Ralph "Bud" Eugene Lindstrom Obituary (1929

Ralph Eugene "Bud" Lindstrom passed away peacefully January 30, after a long illness. He was 88. Bud was born during a blizzard in Michigan, North Dakota, January 20, 1929, to Hilmer and Helen (Johnson) Lindstrom. He moved to Bremerton at age 12 and graduated from Central Kitsap High School, where he played basketball and baseball. He married Marlene Kanthack in 1951 and was drafted into the Army and sent to Korea that same year. After two years in the service, Bud started in the apprenticeship program at Puget Sound Power and Light. In 1990, he retired from PSP&L as a lineman. Over the years, Bud built four homes for his family. He was never one to be idle, building and inventing things in every spare moment! He is survived by his wife, Marlene, daughters Teri Lind of Kirkland, Kris Fox (Walt) Eugene, Oregon, Randi Goetz, Tucson, Arizona. He also is survived by his grandchildren, David (Elizabeth) Fox, Caitlin (Les) Fox Comfort, Kendra Goetz and Beau Goetz and great-grandchildren Hudson, Beckett and Ellis. Bud is survived by sisters Grace Dirickson and Bonnie DiMaggio, sister-in-law Donna Kanthack Scott and her children, Anna, Lizzie and John, plus many more nieces and nephews.
