Orville Orlando Scott, Jr. Obituary (1927

Scotty was born to Orville and Rose Scott. Except for a short time in Walla Walla, his home was always Bremerton. After his school years, Scotty enlisted in the Army during WW II and was stationed in the Philippines as a Military Police. After his honorable discharge and return to Bremerton, he worked at several auto shops until starting his career at PSNS where he retired after 30+ years as a Pipefitter Planner. In 1949 he met and married JoAnn Dillenburg who preceded him in death in 2007. Scotty and JoAnn traveled for several years until her health prohibited it. Together they had three children Ronald Scott, Pamela Murker (Dan) and Tricia Percival (Bob); five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and countless nieces and nephews. Scotty also had a brother Jack Milton and sister June Girsch. Scotty always considered Eldon Dillendurg as a true brother. Scotty was always busy with hunting, fishing, his Banjo traveling with friends and family, socializing at the PH or keeping up with the Seahawks. Soon after JoAnn's death he found the new love of his life, his dog Haleka who could do no wrong and soon whipped him into shape. The service will be at Lewis Chapel Thursday July 12, at 1 p.m.
