Nancy Dalrymple

Nancy Dalrymple, 58, of Bremerton died October 2nd after a year long battle with leukemia. Nancy was born in Providence, RI to Edward and Jessica Caldwell. In 1968, Nancy graduated from First Colonial High School in Lynnhaven, VA. Nancy married Stephen Dalrymple on October 9, 1993 in Virginia Beach, VA. Nancy spent 20 years in the dental industry, 8 in hospitality and most recently she worked for Barnes and Noble. Nancy was a member of St. Bede's Episcopal Church. She enjoyed gardening, landscaping, cooking, reading, decorating her home and spending time with family and friends. Nancy was passionate about animal welfare, including her own three cats and dog. She was preceded in death by her father Edward Caldwell and her brother Robert L. Ray. Nancy is survived by her husband Stephen; mother Jessica; step-daughters Emily Ann, Bonnie Jean and Jennifer Dalrymple; sister Patricia Oates; aunt Anne Simon; cousin Wayne Campbell; niece Melissa Dumond and many other loving family members. The family extends their gratitude and appreciation to Nancy's attending Physicians and the caring and professional staff at Harrison 2 West. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 9th at 11 am at Lewis Funeral Chapel.
