Mickey Sharp Obituary (1936

Maureen Kathryn Sharp, 76, of Silverdale, WA passed away on February 10, 2013. Mickey was born on March 17, 1936 in Cincinnati, OH to Thomas and Loretta (Wagner) Mulcahy. She graduated from Saint Robert Bellarmine High School in Burbank, CA and went on to attend Glendale City College in Glendale, CA. On August 8, 1959, Mickey married Glenn Sharp in Glendale, CA. Early on, Mickey worked at the Glendale Police Department as a clerk, and then later was a loving homemaker who enjoyed baseball, especially the Mariners, decorating shows, board games, movies and movie trivia. She was also an excellent cook. Mickey was preceded in death by her parents, but her memory will live on with her husband, Glenn of Silverdale, WA; son, David of Edmonds, WA; daughters, Laura Noyes of San Diego, CA and Mary Jorgensen of Normandy Park, WA; sisters, Mary Ferkinhoff of Sartell, MN, Patricia McGuire or Orinda, CA and Nell Rosco of Thousand Oaks, CA; and 10 grandchildren. A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church on Wednesday, March 6th at 11:00am. Private inurnment will take place at Tahoma National Cemetery.
