Mathias ''Math'' M. Eberle Obituary (1922

Mathias M. "Math" Eberle passed away from natural causes on May 4, 2003 at his residence in Bremerton, Washington. He was 80 years of age. Mr. Eberle was born on September 4, 1992 in Karlsruhe, North Dakota to Pius and Gunda (Muffenbier) Eberle. He was raised and educated in Karlsruhe and Baker, North Dakota. He married Helen Vetter on July 3, 1952 in Esmond, North Dakota. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 2002. Mr. Eberle served in World War II as a TEC 5 in the United States Army. He was employed as a mechanic in Adak, Alaska and at Bangor Submarine Base in Washington. He worked for the government for 30 years, until his retirement in 1980. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and going to garage sales. He was also a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Bremerton. Survivors include his wife, Helen (Vetter) Eberle of Bremerton; sons Charles Eberle of Anchorage, Alaska and Joe (and his wife Kristina) Eberle of Port Orchard, Washington; daughters Mary Jo (and her husband Thomas) Juarez of Bremerton, Patti (and her husband Kevin) Stephen of Littleton, Colorado, and Helen M. (and her husband John) Hannan of Belfair, Washington; 10 brothers, and a sister. 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren also survive him.
