Leeann Nadine ''Denni'' Jenkins Denni, 38, as Leeann was called, died in the University of Washington Medical Center, Seattle,Washington, on January 16, 2003 after a short illness related to complications. Denni was born on June 6, 1964 in Redmond, Washington to Vern Jenkins and Leeann Mitchell. Denni moved along with her family to the Kitsap Penisula where she graduated from North Kitsap High School in 1982. She continued her education in nursing in Seattle, and then worked as a CNA, constantly continuing her education. She worked in the Bremerton area caring for patients in their home. Denni loved to cook, and was known for the great meals she put on the table. She loved to do needlepoint, and she made many beautiful miniture quilts. In her spare time she loved to relax by reading. Denni, never married, but is survived by her son, Simon, of the home in Suquamish, Washington. Her Mother, Leeann Mitchell, of Discovery Bay, Washington, and her father, Vern Jenkins, of Port Townsend, Washington. A sisters, Helen Rea, and her husband, Adam, of Suquamish, Washington, Berna Burner, and her husband Jerry, of Port Townsend, Washington. Aunts and Uncles; Charles Burhoop and JoAnn of Bremerton, Washington and John Mitchell and Cheri of Poulsbo, Washington, and Collin Denny of Suquamish, Washington. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, 2:00PM, January 21, 2003 at Lewis Funeral Chapel, 5303 Kitsap WAy, Bremerton, Washington, followed immediately by the graveside service at Island Lake Cemetery, at 3:00PM.
