LeeAnn Mitchell Obituary (1943

LeeAnn Mitchell, 64, of Discovery Bay, passed away peacefully March 3, 2008 in Bremerton. She was born in Kirkland, Washington on November 4, 1943 to Adrian John and Fern L. (Ayers) Mitchell. LeeAnn graduated from East Bremerton High School with the class of 1961 and went on to become a licensed beautician. LeeAnn owned a beauty salon on Bainbridge Island. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, quilting, water color painting and farming. She worked as a Rural Carrier for both the Poulsbo and Suquamish Post Offices until her retirement in 2006. LeeAnn was preceded in death by her parents, Adrian Mitchell, Lester and Fern Burhoop and her eldest daughter Deni Jenkins. She is survived by daughters. Helen (Adam) Rea of Suquamish, Berna (Jerry) Bruner of Quilcene; brothers John (Cherie) Mitchell of Poulsbo, Charles (Johann) Burhoop of Bremerton and four grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at Lewis Funeral Chapel at 1:30 PM, Friday, March 7, 2008. Burial will follow at Island Lake Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to American Cancer Society.
