LTC Charles T. Mundy Obituary (1941

LTC Charles T. Mundy passed away at his home in Kingston, WA on March 2, 2004 after a courageous bettle with Mesothelioma Cancer. Charles was born February 12, 1941 in Philadelphia, PA to Charles and Jane Mundy. After attending school he married Victory Kieper in Port Orchard, WA. Charles served in the US Navy acheiving the rank of LTC before his reitrement on October 31, 1982. He then worked as a Senior Logisics Analyst for Electric Boat/TTF for 15 years retiring in 1996. Charles enjoyed fishing, traveling, woodworking and spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife Victory of Kingston; his mother Jane Rammell of New Jersey; sons Glenn Carrier and wife Jennifer of Poulsbo, Gavin Kieper of Bellingham; daughters Tana Belger and husband Brian of Kingston, Tara Schuerger and husband Pat of Bremerton, Cheryl Hart and Kelley Mundy of California and grandchildren Brianna, Brandon, Madison, Breanah and Heather; sisters Mraie Frye and Cookie Tubman both of New Jersey. Charles was preceded in death by his father Charles Mundy. A time of viewing will be held at Stone Chapel begining at 9 AM on Saturday, March 6, 2004 until the funeral service begins at 10:00 AM. Interment at Kingston Cemetery will follow the service. Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Kitsap County.
