Juliet LeAnn Hough Obituary (1954

Juliet LeAnn Hough, 54, passed away in Bremerton on September 12, 2009, following a courageous battle with cancer. Born September 24, 1954 in Long Beach, CA, to Joseph and Juliet (Baseel) Allen, Juliet graduated from Millikan High School in Long Beach in 1973. She graduated from Long Beach Technical School in 1980 and in 1994, Eton Technical College, in Everett, WA, earning her technical certificate in Dental Assisting. She married James Hough on August 10, 1988, in Lake Tahoe, NV. Juliet was a 3-year team captain for her Relay For Life team, and was the founder of the Bremerton Naval Hospital's Cancer Support Group. She was also a Red Cross volunteer at the Naval Hospital and was an Ombudsman for the USS Kirk at Long Beach, CA; Explosive Ordnance Mobile Unit 17 at Whidbey Island; and the USS Bridge at Bremerton. She loved her grandkids, camping, playing in the snow, and dressing up for Halloween (her favorite holiday). Juliet is survived by her husband, James; son Christopher Cheshire (Jessica) of Long Beach, CA; daughter Mikki Burkholder (Tim) of Marysville, WA; brothers, Jerry Allen of Long Beach, CA and Jeffrey Allen of Dunnigan, CA; and four grandchildren, Cierra Celine, Gavin Jacob, Christopher Daniel (C.J.), and Nicole Taylor. Visitation will be Thursday, September 17, 2009 at Lewis Funeral Chapel, 5303 Kitsap Way, Bremerton, WA, at 10:00 am, followed by a memorial service at 2:00 pm. Memorial donations may be made at any Wells-Fargo branch to the "Juliet Hough Memorial Donation Fund."
