Judie K. Christmas Obituary (1941

Judie K. Christmas of Poulsbo passed away on Thursday, April 23rd, 2015 at the age of 75. Judie was a proud grandmother of five and soon to be great grandmother. Judie's viewing will be held Thursday, April 30th from 10:30 to 4:00 pm. A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, May 1, 2015 at The Stone Chapel in Poulsbo, WA. Judie was born in St. Cloud Minnesota on October 16, 1941 to Daniel Hennek and Marrianne Hoeschen. Judie moved to the Poulsbo area from Los Angeles, California in the late 1960's with her husband Bill Christmas to start a new life. Being the entrepreneurs they were, they purchased and developed the land that is now known as Cedar Glen Mobile Home and RV Park. The business has been kept in the family for over 40 years. Judie is survived by her son Dwight Christmas of Silverdale and daughter Beth Whisenant of Poulsbo; her brother Doug Hennek her five grandchildren Lezlie Dyer, Star Christmas, Hailey Whisenant, Chase Whisenant and Chloe Christmas and her beloved dog Kannik, who was always by her side. Judie is predeceased by her spouse William Harvey Christmas and her parents Daniel and Marrianne Hennek. In her free time Judie loved attending her grandchildren's sporting events, band concerts, plays and scouting events. Judie also enjoyed genealogy, miniatures and star gazing. Judie will always be remembered for her quirky sense of humor and love and devotion for family.
