She was an Accounting Technician for Puget Sound Naval Shipyard for over 20 years prior to retiring. She enjoyed reading and gardening in her spare time. She is survived by her companion Milton Blake of Bremerton, WA; her father Owen Epps of Bremerton, WA; her son James Newton of Bremerton, WA; her daughter Altheia (Aquilla) Chambers of Kenmore, WA; brothers Charles Epps, Floyd Epps, Michael Epps, all of Bremerton, WA; sisters Elizabeth Bartlett of Auburn, WA, Carol Epps of Nochy, AZ, Flozelle Epps of Bremerton, WA; her grandchildren James Newton of Bremerton, WA, and Alivia Chambers of Kenmore, WA. She was preceded in death by her mother, Addie Epps; her sister Betty Ann Morrison; and her brother Owen A. Epps. Memorial donation may be made to the charity of donor's choice.
