Joe Ann Stevens Obituary (1935

Mrs. Joe Ann Stevens, 82, left her body on Friday, January 19, 2018 in Poulsbo, WA. Joe Ann was born on September 13, 1935 to Ernest B Proctor and Etta (Youngblood) Proctor in Augusta, GA. She married Nicholas G Stevens on March 1, 1952. Mrs. Stevens and her husband worked for 27 years managing the Bark Inn Kennels in Holbrook, MA. They were members of the American Legion Post 37 and engaged in community work for many years. They moved to WA and enjoyed retirement living at the Vintage Retirement Apartments. Joe Ann will be missed by family & many friends on both shores. Joe Ann is survived by her children Mary Fede and her husband John of Hopkinton, MA; George Stevens and his wife Rosemary of Braintree, MA; Mona Voyles and her husband Wayne of Silverdale, WA; and her grandchildren Holly McCarthy, Jacob Voyles and Madison Voyles. She is preceded in death by her husband Nicholas, brother Henry and sisters Alma, Isabell, Williemae & Thelma.
