Jill G. Metcalf Obituary (1950

Jill G. Metcalf, age 62, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on October 4th, 2012 at Harrison Hospital. Jill was born in Bremerton, WA on May 27th of 1950. Her parents Henry Albert Green and Margaret (Schmidt) Green raised Jill to be kind, caring, and strong. After receiving both a Bachelor in English and a Masters in Education from the University of Puget Sound, Jill spent her career in Education as both a teacher and administrator. Aside from teaching, Jill was a loving mother, an adventurous traveler, a great friend, and an avid cook and baker. She was a member of the Boomer Zoomers social group and started businesses selling both cupcakes and pies. To those around her, Jill always brought a smile and laugh, even at her own expense. Jill Metcalf was preceded in death by her parents, Al and Marge, and her niece, Karlene. Jill is survived by her son, Jordan and his wife, Breanna of Plymouth, MN; daughter, Jennifer and her husband, Rafel of Seattle, WA; and sister, Alleen Witte of Bremerton, WA.
