Jacklynn Dale Aldrich Obituary (1945

Jacklynn Dale Aldrich of Silverdale, WA passed away peacefully in her home on August 28, 2019. She was born in Seattle on March 28, 1945 to John Dale Aldrich and Elsie (Wheaton) Aldrich. Preceding her in death were her parents and in 2002, her daughter, Katie Jo. Jackie is survived by her brothers, David K Aldrich ( Linda) of Nokomis, FL and Jerry Aldrich ( Ann) of Yakima and Silverdale, WA, her two sons Aaron Kurth his wife and four grandchildren of Rockledge, FL and Johnathan Kurth, his wife and family of Seattle, WA. and many people who loved her and were touched by her compassionate influence. Jackie grew up in Silverdale and graduated in the Class of '63 from Central Kitsap High School. She then went on to get her BS in Nursing from the University of Washington. She married in 1968 and had three children. When the marriage ended in divorce, raised the children in Bellevue, WA. As a single mother, she founded and operated for many years, two beautiful and compassionate adult care homes, Angelic Quest. In 2009 she returned to her roots in Silverdale where she lived her remaining years. Jackie danced on both sides of that fine line between the duality of her body and her spirit. She lived in close connection with her angels and surrounded herself in her home with the symbols of their presence in the form of figurines, poetry, beautiful pieces of art and always pictures of her children, who were her most cherished angels. Her sacred self is what she brought to others through her nursing skills and her respectful conversations held with others of diverse backgrounds and beliefs, while always seeking the highest truth for herself and those she loved. She chose to see the good in all she encountered. Her beautiful eyes were truly the windows to her magnificent soul. Her smile expressed the light she carried within. Most important to her were her home and her family. She had a natural talent for interior design and enjoyed decorating her home to create a warm and welcoming place. She fiercely loved her children. Each of her three children held a special place in her heart. After Katie Jo passed, she always had a strong sense of her loving presence. It was a comfort to Jackie in her last days to know she would soon be able hold her again and be with her for eternity.
