Iver A. Iverson Obituary (1920

Iver A. Iverson, 86, of Poulsbo died Wednesday at Harrison Medical Center. He was born in Molde, Norway, at Torvald and Oline Iversen. He graduated from Union High School in 1940. On May 7, 1948, he married Molly Munoz in Port Angeles. Mr. Iverson served in the Army from 1942 to 1946, reaching the rank of staff sergeant. He then was a longshoreman in Port Gamble for 26 years, retiring in 1982. He was a member of the International Longshoremen's and Warehousemen's Union Local 51 in Port Gamble. He was preceded in death by his wife in 1994; and his sister, Carrie. Survivors include his sons, Russell Iverson and Robert (Sherlyn) Iverson; his daughter, Jennifer (David Henson) Iverson; his sisters, Tordis Rasmussen and Delores (Vernon) Ulvang; and three grandchildren.
