Hergart Wilkins Obituary (1944

Our beloved mother, Hergart Wilkins, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 19, 2009. Surviving are her loving children, Richard Wilkins, Eileen May, Sandie Wilkins, and her five grandchildren, Chelsea, Austin, Jessica, Viktoria, and Katarina. Hergart was born in Germany on February 21, 1944. It was there that she met and married her husband, Larry Wilkins and moved to the United States. Hergart enjoyed cooking her favorite German dishes, particularly during the holidays when she would fill the house with culinary delights she brought from her home in Oppenheim. As an avid gardener, her yard was always filled with beautiful colorful flowers. She liked to collect unique knickknacks, and the family was always amazed at the humorous things she'd collect. She touched so many lives, and left her family with so many memories that will forever bring a smile to their hearts. Mom, Oma, you will be missed tremendously by your loving family, and many friends. Ich Leibe Dich!
