Heliodoro Jess Garcia

Heliodoro "Jess" Garcia, 89, of Silverdale passed away on January 19 in Bremerton. He was born on June 24, 1918 in Tucson, AZ. Jess was active as a volunteer for the CK Food Bank, SOS, and Meals on Wheels in Silverdale. He enjoyed gardening, woodcarving, and playing his guitar. Jess is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Emma. Surviving are his daughter, Yolanda Adams- Smith of Poulsbo, and grand daughter, Heather Kubiszewski (Scott) of CA. Viewing will be held on January 23 from 10 am - 5 pm and January 24 from 9 am- 11 am at Lewis Funeral Chapel followed by a funeral service at 11 am. Interment will be held at Imperial Memorial Gardens in Pueblo, CO. Memorial donations may be sent to Alzheimer's Association, 12721 30th Ave NE, Ste 101, Seattle, WA 98125.
