Guy Harold Ungren Obituary (1925

Guy Harold Ungren age 78, formerly of Bremerton passed away on March 20, 2004 at his home in Poulsbo. He was born September 19, 1925 in Edmonds, WA to John and Lillian (Balcom) Ungren. Guy attended Bremerton High School. He then served in the US Army during WWII from 1944 until his honorable discharge in 1946 acheiving the rank of Spec 5. On November 15, 1946 Guy married Leda Simpson in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Guy worked for Cascade Natural Gas for 31 years as a Serviceman A until his retirement in 1993. His hobbies included cards, coins and baseball. Guy coached baseball for many years from PeeWee teams to High School Teams. He is survived by his wife Leda Ungren of Poulsbo; mother Lillian Clough of Bremerton; sons Gary Ungren and wife Mitzy of Bremerton, Jerry Ungren and wife Virginia of Eglon, David Ungren of Poulsbo, Denny Ungren of Bremerton, Ronnie Ungren of Poulsbo, Guy Kevin Ungren and long time companion Patsy Smith of Bremerton; daughters Donna and husband Doug McNea of San Jose, Nancy and husband Roy Cole of Bremerton and Patty Becker of Costa Mesa; brothers Bill Ungren and wife Evelyn of Bremerton, Bobby Ungren and wife Carol of Bremerton, Jim Clough and wife Ellen of Bremerton, Edward Clough and wife Carol of Bremerton; 24 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother John W. Ungren, his father John H. Ungren and his stepfather Albert Clough. At his request no formal services will be held.
