Farrel Culver Obituary (1913

Farrel "Bud" Culver of Bremerton, WA passed away on March 7, 2005. He was 91 years of age. Bud was born to Harrison O. and Cora M. (Nyhart) Culver in Atchison, KS. He enlisted in the Army and served during WWII. After the war, Bud worked as the owner of the Signal Station on Wheaton Way and in Manette both in Bremerton. He also was owner of Culver Bulldozing and worked as a heavy equipment master mechanic at Bangor Base. He retired in 1979. Bud enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gradening. In his later years, Bud enjoyed playing cards with his friends and spending time with his family. Bud is survived by his son Ronald, Sr. (Karen) of Shelton, WA; daughters, Donna Likens (Dallas) of Poulsbo, WA, Sharon Bauman (Larry) of Port Orchard, WA, and Linda Nickerson (Roger) of Port Orchard, WA; sisters, Geneva Schafer of S. Dakota, Evelyn Anderson of S. Dakota, and Lois Muller of Arizona; 8 grandchildren, Kimberly, Larry, Jr., Dean, Debbie, Todd, Al, Rhonda, and Ron, Jr.; and 21 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth; sister, Velma Schafer; and grandson, Farrel. A memorial service is scheduled for March 17th at 3pm at the Stone Chapel in Poulsbo.
