Edit E. Brown Obituary (1926

Edith E. Brown passed away peacefully on December 27, 2012. She was born on November 7, 1926 in Colville, WA. She was the second child of Nels Arthur and Annie Folger. She and her family eventually relocated to Bremerton, WA where she graduated from Bremerton High School, class of 1944. In 1946 she married Lindell Brown of Bremerton, WA. She worked as a bookkeeper at Service Fuel in Bremerton for many years before leaving to start a family. Her greatest joy was her family and friends. She was very well known for her creative nature and her passion for arts and crafts, as well as being and excellent seamstress. Edith was preceded in death by her beloved husband Lindell; sisters Stella Majoch and Norma Jean Folger; and her parents. Edith is survived by her son David Brown of Bremerton; daughter Kimberly Tassin (Rick) of Seattle; grandchildren Walker Tassin of Seattle and Isabella Tassin of Seattle; and many nieces and nephews. Viewing will be held Thursday January 3rd and Friday January 4th, from 10:00am to 4:30pm at Lewis Funeral Chapel in Bremerton. Services will be held Saturday January 5, 2013 at 11:00am at Lewis Funeral Chapel.
