Dr. Lawrence Howell Ellett Obituary (1942

Lawrence Howell Ellett ''Larry'' was born May 13, 1942 in Klamath Falls, OR and passed away at home on January 19, 2003 in Hansville of cancer. He is survived by his wife Sharon; two sons, Jay and David Ellett; his mother Lois Thompson; one sister Annie Ellett; two step daughters Catherine Dotson and Teresa Luke, and his dog ''Pepper''. Larry practiced Optometry in Corvallis, OR for over 20 years and in the Puget Sound area since 1996. Larry's will to live and love of life and family took him through the past year of illness with grace and love. The everyday routine of his life was precious to him. Whether it was going to his job as a local Optometrist or throwing the ball to his dog ''Pepper'', or just being together with his beloved wife Sharon, he was content. He looked forward to coming home each night, fishing with friends, building his tool shed, traveling in his camper with Sharon and Pepper, reading and studying history and completing the Sunday crossword puzzle. He was loved and will be missed. There will be a Memorial service at 10:00AM at the Hansville Community Church Monday, January 27, 2003 with a reception to follow.
