Dorothy E. Johnson Obituary (1921

Dorothy E. Johnson, 86, of Edmonds passed away on Aug. 23 at Northwest Hospital after a long illness. She was born on May 15, 1921 in Akron, OH to Daniel Stephens and Henrietta (Wantz) Stephens. Dorothy worked as a waitress and was a devoted homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and spending time with her family and friends. Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Cecil Johnson; and grandsons, Gregory Johnson and Dale Haydock. She is survived by daughter, Lois McIntire of Edmonds; stepchildren, Larry Johnson (Maxine) of Silverdale and JoRene Nelson (Jim) of Port Orchard; brother, Howard Stephens (Marion) of Wadsworth, OH; grandchildren, Lisa Griffin (Curt) of Spokane and Heather Kelsey (Todd Schwartz) of Lynnwood; 4 step-grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
