Dolores San Agustin Young Obituary (1937

Dolores Santos San Agustin Young, born 05-03-1937, passed peacefully into Heaven on her 85th Birthday 05-03-2022 Guam time, 05-02-2022 stateside time, from complications of Ovarian Cancer and Heart disease. She was born at Agana, Guam to Amparo Santos San Agustin and Jose San Agustin and lived at Sinajana, Guam during her childhood years. On November 19, 1955, Dolores married Paul Young at St. Jude Catholic Church at Sinajana, Guam by Father Raymond Demers solemnizing the marriage. Paul and Dolores then enjoyed more than 66 years of marriage living in various parts of the world as Paul was serving in the US Navy. Though their marriage were born four children, Paul Anthony Young, Joseph John Young (Christine) Anaheim California, Gregory Louis Young (Claire) Bremerton WA, and Lisa Ann Blas (Roy) Bremerton, WA. Eleven Grandchildren, twenty-six Great-grandchildren, and one great great-grandchild. Dolores was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and auntie. She enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and welcomed all to our home with a pot of rice ready to feed. She had an infectious laugh and personality that drew others to enjoy her presence. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She was survived by her husband Paul, daughter Lisa and son Joseph and preceded by her two sons Paul and Greg. Tuesday May 10th, there will be a viewing from 6:00-8:00pm at Lewis Funeral Chapel, Bremerton, QA, with light refreshments. Funeral Services for Dolores will be at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, Port Orchard, WA Wednesday May 11, 2022, with viewing at 10:00am, Rosary 10:30am, Mass at 11:00am and reception to follow at the Church. Burial will be conducted by Lewis Funeral Chapel in Forest Lawn Cemetery in the Fatima section of the Cemetery.
