DIXIE LYNN VANGUILDER Dixie Lynn VanGuilder, died at the age of 57 in Harrison Hospital, after a long illness, surrounded by her loving family at her bedside, on August 15, 2002. Dixie was born is Seattle, Washington, on April 29, 1945, to Ralph and Thelma Osborn. She was raised in the Pacific Northwest and spent her entire life here. She married John VanGuilder on June 16, 1979. They were married in Edmonds, Washington. They lived in Edmonds,Washington for many years until moving to Belfair, Washington four years ago. Dixie's life evolved around her family. She was a devoted wife and mother. She loved her home and the garden of which she took great pride in caring for. The family loved to travel and camp. She loved the Pacific Northwest, marveling at its beauty and its seasonal changes throughout year. She is survived by her husband, John William VanGuilder, living in Belfair, Washington, along with her son, Robert Floyd Vanguilder, of Belfair, Washington, and her daughter, Cathryn Marion VanGuilder, of Belfair, Washington. Funeral services will be Wednesday,( time to be finalized) August, 21, 2002, at Lewis Funeral Chapel, 5303 Kitsap Way, Bremerton, Washington. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service in the funeral home chapel. Arrangements entrusted to Lewis Funeral Chapel, Bremerton, Washington.
