Darcy Imogene Baringer Obituary (1952

Darcy Imogene Baringer passed away December 5, 2022, in Silverdale, Washington, at the age of 70. She was born December 3, 1952, in Ithaca, New York to Leon and Mildred Baringer (Neigh). She was a graduate of El Camino High School. Darcy was a retired bartender and worked as one for 25 years. She could certainly handle her own and was well loved by all her patrons. She also dabbled in drywall installation, assembling manufactured homes, a CNA and was simply a jack of all trades. Her proudest accomplishment was being a mother and grandmother. Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy! She was a member of VFW and was passionate about cooking and baking. She could throw together amazing meals with whatever was in the fridge or cupboard. She took her role as matriarch and head caretaker of her family with great pride and with a bit of cussing along the way. As they say, "Good moms say bad words!" Survivors include her daughter Heidi Lynn Butts, sons Preston Robert Wilson and Eric Edward LeDoux, sisters Nejla Smith, Tanya Earnest, Sheena Kaplan and Sherran Horner as well as close friend Kendra Carden. She is also survived by her 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lewis Funeral Chapel in Bremerton, Washington.
