Anna Marie Nystrom

Anna Marie Nystrom, 98, of Bremerton passed away on July 8 at Northwoods Lodge. She was born on Dec. 29, 1908 to Otto Weherwein and Augusta Amelia (Anderson) Weherwein in Philadelphia, PA. Anna attended and graduated high school in Philadelphia. She then met and married Gunnar B. Nystrom in Philadelphia. Mrs. Nystrom was a devoted homemaker who enjoyed knitting, gardening and teaching Sunday school. She was also a life member of Olympic Chapter OES #216, Manette #94 Assembly Grandmother, LLANCH member in Philadelphia. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband in Feb. 1987; son, Albert Nystrom in Sept.1959; and daughter in law, Sally Lou Nystrom in Feb. 1997. Anna is survived by her son, Gunnar B. Nystrom Jr of Bremerton; numberous grandchildren; great grandchildren and great great grand children. At her request there will be no formal services held.
