Alfred J. "Jay" Bouse, Jr. Obituary (1942

Alfred Joy "Jay" Bouse, Jr., 64, died on Tuesday, February 13, 2007 in Bremerton, WA. He was born to Alfred Joy Bouse, Sr. and Norma M. (Welch) Bouse in Adams, CO on October 11, 1942. He married Miao Chen (Liang) Bouse on August 15, 1970 in Taiwan. Mr. Bouse served in the US Navy as a Senior Chief between 11/68 - 11/03. He earned 2nd and 3rd good conduct awards, a Vietnam Campaign Medal, a Meritorious Unit Commendation, and a Vietnam Service Medal with 4 stars. He worked as an electrician for the Naval Shipyard Bremerton for 22 years prior to his retirement in 1982. Jay enjoyed fishing, gardening and his boat. He is survived by his wife Miao Chen Bouse of Bremerton; stepmother Audrey Bouse of Missouri; daughter Su Ryan and husband, Peter of Edmonds, WA; brother Clarence; stepbrothers Bob, Tim, Ken; stepsister Theresa; and granddaughters Paige and Maya Ryan.
