Ann passed away peacefully at Harborview Medical Center, Thursday Jan 2, 2014. She was born in Seattle, WA to Viva (Shaw) Tangerose and Orval Tangerose. Ann was preceded in death by her parents and older sister Sharon (Joe) Poole and survived by her younger sister Michelle "Mickey" (Paul) Sagdahl. Ann is also survived by 3 cousins, Jim Burns and Roseann (Larry) Mitchell, and Noreen (James) Amend. Ann married Vernon Huggart July 27, 1957 in Suquamish. Together they had 2 sons, Jeffrey (Kayleen) and Brian. Ann had 3 grandchildren, Tiffany, Matthew, and Dan (Dusty), and 2 great grandchildren, Danielle and Delani, 3 nieces, 1 nephew and several grand nieces and nephews.
Ann was quick with a smile and always had something interesting to say. Known as a very good listener she was easy to talk to. Ann enjoyed trips to Reno with her sisters, and adored and spoiled her grandchildren. Ann retired from employment in the Business and Administrative offices at North Kitsap High School, and was a member of the National Association of Mental Illness (NAMI). Ann was loved by all who knew her and will be missed very much.
Ann will rest with her sister Sharon on Liberty Bay during a private family ceremony. At her request there will be no services.
