In Memoriam- Glen M. Henrickson Former President and owner of Lewis Funeral Chapel & Forest Lawn Cemetery and "The Stone Chapel" Poulsbo Mortuary & Cherry Grove Memorial Park. Glen was a licensed funeral director and embalmer since 1970.
Glen served in Bremerton Rotary for many years, was a member of the Kitsap Golf & Country Club, past board member of the Harrison Medical Center Foundation and past board member of the Washington State funeral Director's Association. His tradition of integrity continues to guide our staff today.
Glen C. "Chris" Henrickson President/Owner of Lewis Funeral Chapel & Forest Lawn Cemetery, "Stone Chapel" Poulsbo Mortuary & Cherry Grove Memorial Park. Chris Graduated from Central Washington University with a BA in Business Administration with a Marketing emphasis in 1999. Came to work for the family business in 2000 and earned his Washington State Funeral Director's License in 2001.
Chris is married and has two children. Chris likes to fish, play golf and be with his family.
Janean M. Henrickson Owner of Lewis Funeral Chapel & Forest Lawn Cemetery, "Stone Chapel" Poulsbo Mortuary & Cherry Grove Memorial Park. Since 1992 she has worked as Administrative Assistant at the Poulsbo Mortuary.
Janean is a graduate of Central Washington University. She stayed at home to raise her two children and is grandmother to two granddaughters and one grandson.
Lynn H. Fermstad Part owner of Lewis Funeral Chapel, "The Stone Chapel" Poulsbo Mortuary, Forest Lawn Cemetery and Cherry Grove Memorial Park, Lynn is a Family Service Counselor and Administrative Assistant for Forest Lawn Cemetery & Lewis Funeral Chapel. Lynn was born and raised in Silverdale and graduated from Central Kitsap High School in 1997. She then attended Washington State University and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Administration. After working in the insurance industry for several years, Lynn is now using her insurance licensing to assist families with pre-planning of funeral services.
She enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter
Janelle Cain, has been bookkeeper for Lewis Funeral Chapel, Stone Chapel and Cemeteries since 1985.
Janelle was born and raised in Bremerton. She graduated from East High School. She graduated with a degree in accounting from the University of Washington.
Janelle is very active in the local community, having served with the YWCA, is a 20 year member of Soroptimist International, a current member of Harrison Hospital Foundation Festival of Trees and for the past 6 years committee Co-Chair of the Festival of Trees for the "Celebrate the Children Tree".
Janelle enjoys river rafting, hiking and swimming.
Rebecca A. Driver is currently licensed as a funeral director and embalmer. Before moving to Washington, Rebecca graduated from the International Academy of Beauty College in Mesa, AZ in 2000. She then attended Mesa Community College and graduated in 2004 earning an AA in Mortuary Science. During her schooling, Rebecca worked at Resthaven Park Mortuary & Cemetery in Phoenix, AZ. After graduating she moved to Bremerton, WA in late 2004.
Rebecca enjoys spending time with her husband, two dogs and spending time with her family.
Rich Winter serves as our Director of Family Services. Rich has assisted families and individuals with all aspects of pre-planning for more than fourteen years. His experience of losing a close family member and dealing with his own grief has allowed him to relate to others with compassion and caring while assisting and educating them about our many unique services and offerings.
Carrie L. Milbrot, registered intern funeral director and embalmer at Lewis Funeral Chapel since 2002. Carrie is currently working at "The Stone Chapel" Poulsbo Mortuary. She graduated from Marysville-Pilchuck High School with the class of 1994. Carrie continued her education and began working as an intern with Schaefer-Shipman Funeral home in Marysville in 1999.
Carrie enjoys being on the steering team of MOPS (Mother's of Preschoolers), serving her sorority Beta Sigma Phi, as Vice President and Woman of the Year.
Richard L. Dexter, licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer. Dick has worked for the Lewis Funeral Chapel and its branches since 1960. After 45+ years of service to our community, Dick is now retired, though he is available to help families that request him.
Dick is a longtime member of the Mason's and Scottish Rite. Dick enjoys being with his grandchildren, and traveling the world with his wife.
Christie Winter works in our Preplanning Department as a Family Service Specialist. Christie has been helping families and individual with all aspects of pre-planning since 1991. Having lost a brother herself she is dedicated to making a positive experience for those she works with and their families. Christie has one daughter. She enjoys spending time with family, friends and exploring the outdoors.
Erik Fermstad Erik S. Fermstad is currently licensed as an intern funeral director with the State of Washington. He attended WSU, where he met his wife Lynn. Erik graduated in 2001 with a degree in Business Administration.
Erik moved with his family to Gig Harbor in 2002. He enjoys golfing and spending time with his wife and daughter Kaitlin.
Robert "Bob" Weston Gardener for Forest Lawn Cemetery and Cherry Grove Memorial Park. Bob has been employed with the cemeteries since 1982. He has a professional background in horticulture, botany, forestry and business. Bob received educational certificates in horticulture and botany from Olympic College. Bob is responsible for the care of hundreds of plants, shrub, and tree species at the cemeteries.
Bob enjoys hunting and landscaping.
Javier Zatarain Valenzuela Groundskeeper for Forest Lawn Cemetery and Cherry Grove Memorial Park. Born in Mazatlan, Mexico, Javier has lived in Kitsap County for 12 years. Javier has worked for the cemeteries since 2004.
Javier enjoys spending time with his wife and children.
Richard George III Groundskeeper of Forest Lawn Cemetery and Cherry Grove Memorial Park. Richard has worked in the cemetery business for 20 years.
He enjoys cars, hunting and fishing.
Russell "Rusty" Milbrot Grounds Supervisor of Forest Lawn Cemetery & Cherry Grove Memorial Park. Rusty came to work for Forest Lawn Cemetery from 1983-1987 and returned in 1999 to continue his career. He is a lifelong resident of Bremerton and graduated from Bremerton High School in 1984
Rusty enjoys spending time with his wife and son.
Susan Clugh Cemetery Superintendent since 1994, Sue came to work for Forest Lawn in 1983 as an Administrative Assistant. Sue was born in Bremerton and raised in Manchester with her six siblings. She graduated from South Kitsap High School and Olympic College with an ATA in Bookkeeping.
Sue is represents Forest Lawn Cemetery and Cherry Grove Memorial Park in the WCFA. She is a volunteer for the Festival of Trees and in the Care Kitchen at the Christian Life Center. Sue enjoys spending time with her husband and raising their adopted grandson.
